G. Matthew Norris, M.Eng., P.E., is founder and president of Geolab. He is a 2000 graduate of the University of Maryland. Mr. Norris has more than thirty years of experience in the geotechnical, materials and environmental areas of Civil Engineering. Mr. Norris holds licenses in Maryland, D.C., and Florida.
Alfred Young, P.E., Senior Consulting Engineer, is a 1974 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He has practiced extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. For over 30 years he has been providing geotechnical services in the Baltimore-Washington area. He has extensive knowledge in commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
Brian Luoma, E.I.T., Staff Engineer, is a 2004 graduate of the University of Maryland. Mr. Luoma has been on our staff for more than 10 years. He has extensive knowledge in his field including Segmental Block Wall design, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Subsurface Exploration and Geotechnical Engineering analysis.
David Rockwood, E.I.T., Staff Engineer, is a 2011 graduate of the University of Maryland. As well as EIT he is MARTCP-HMA certified.
Deryck Critchlow, M.S., P.G. is a 1981 graduate of Howard University. He has 30 years of construction testing and inspection experience. Mr. Critchlow has a wealth of knowledge in construction technologies, problem solving, and project management
